Larisa Bolivar has been leading in cannabis for 20 years on the social justice and patient and caregiver rights fronts. She is a serial entrepreneur and has multiple cannabis and hemp related businesses and has been working on cannabis policy since the early 2000s having submitted the first petition to add PTSD onto the Colorado medical marijuana registry in 2006. PTSD finally added to the Colorado registry in 2017. Through the Cannabis Consumers Coalition, she establish the need for regulatory framework surrounding pesticides and fungicides applications. Her academic work and personal passions include social equity and in 2020 she self-funded and co-authored Colorado House Bill 20-1424 Social Equity in Regulated Cannabis. Larisa heads the daily operations of the Cannabis Consumers Coalition to help keep the organization's mission on target. She has a Masters of Arts in Public Policy with honors from Regis University in 2015 where she concentrated on cannabis policy reform and wrote her masters thesis on lack of diversity in the cannabis and the need for social equity entitled “Enduring racial disparity after cannabis legalization” which launched her career into cannabis social equity and community empowerment via economic development through cannabis.
Richard Rose is a pioneer in hemp and in Vegan foods. A longtime activist and the creator of the Hemp Nut, Richard has been featured on the Rosanne Barr Show, numerous radio shows and podcasts, and works with international leaders to advance hemp all over the globe. Through the years Richard has earned many accolades for his leadership such as “Top Ten Innovators of 1986” by Food and Beverage Marketing magazine and the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in 1993 for the immense success of TofuRella sales. Richard is both known as a “Tofu Mogul” and known as “The Hemp Nut” for his pioneering work and is credited for introducing shelled hempseed to the North American market. Richard lives in Italy with his wife and continues to consult on both business and policy in the hemp space. He oversees hemp and cannabis legacy operations and helps provide guidance to the rest of the board on hemp and cannabis consumer related history and cannabis consumer education.
Kate Rothschild is the Managing Director of Fooles Group, a product and marketing strategist and shamanic guide. Adept at producing deep engagement, she has developed brands across diverse sectors including health/wellness, education, entertainment, and news/information. As creator of the BS-Free Life project and author of the books Emag of Efil and Way of the Foole, Kate’s unique metaphysical humor empowers people to lighten-up, connect with respect, balance mind-body-spirit, and create a flourishing life experience. She combines a degree in international relations & diplomacy from Brown with certifications in applied positive psychology, master shamanic energy healing, laughter wellness and training in master plant spirit work (Shipibo, Q’ero, Santo Daime lineages), transpersonal psychology, and psychedelic harm reduction. Kate is currently consulting in the cannabis industry, editing Mega Manual: a BS-Free Guide to the Game of Life & Beyond and exploring the connection between ancient Jewish cannabis rituals and Ashkenazi comedy. She advocates for the use of cannabis as a spiritual teacher after attending and facilitating ceremonies with Ayahuasca where she had a revelation to “Go heal my sister.” This plant spirit double-whammy inspires the mission to help us honor Sister Cannabis and other sacred teacher-allies through meaningful consumption so we all heal and rebalance our planet. She directs the Cannabis Consumers Coalition’s spiritual and healing and consumer awareness projects for all plant and fungi medicine.
